On September 26, 2024, TT Concrete’s General Manager, Cindy Lin, represented the company at the 2024 NZCBIA Building Report launch, held at the New Zealand Parliament’s Legislative Council Chamber. This event brought together construction industry and government representatives to gain deeper insights into industry trends and future forecasts.

Hosted by Hon Chris Penk, Minister for Building and Construction, the event started at noon and featured key presentations by the NZCBIA President and Shamubeel Eaqub, the report’s lead author. Eaqub, an economist, along with Rosie Collins, conducted the research and writing of this critical report, while Primary Purpose carried out the consumer perceptions survey. The report provides valuable updates on the state of the building industry.

As a professional organization, the New Zealand Chinese Building Industry Association (NZCBIA) represents a diverse range of businesses and professionals in the construction sector, including Kiwi companies with strong connections to the Chinese building industry. The association plays a key role in fostering growth, collaboration, and visibility for Chinese builders in New Zealand.

TT Concrete’s participation in this event highlights its commitment to staying informed about industry developments and supporting the Chinese building community’s voice within New Zealand’s construction landscape. The company looks forward to contributing to the sector’s ongoing growth and actively engaging with industry peers and stakeholders.

Special thanks to President Xu and MP Nancy Lu for their support, which helped bring greater media attention to the achievements and contributions of Chinese builders in New Zealand’s construction industry.
