On April 7, 2025, TT Concrete attended the CCNZ Auckland Branch Meeting, held at Ellerslie Events Centre. The event was a fantastic opportunity for industry professionals from Auckland and beyond to come together, share insights, and discuss the latest developments in the civil construction sector.

Key Highlights from the Meeting

The meeting covered a range of important topics, including:

  • Civil Trades Certification Updates (with Marianne Rogers from Geovert and Rebecca Fox from CCNZ)
  • Silo Safety (presented by Ian Denness from Holcim)
  • HIANZ Industry Update (from Rodney Grant, CEO of HIANZ)
  • Economic Outlook (with Satish Ranchhod, Senior Economist at Westpac NZ)

A highlight of the evening was Satish Ranchhod’s economic update. His deep dive into global and local economic trends, along with his outlook for the civil construction industry, sparked plenty of discussion among attendees. As the industry navigates rising costs and other challenges, Satish’s analysis offered valuable insights into what’s ahead.

Building Connections and Exploring New Opportunities

The event also provided a great space for networking. TT Concrete took the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of contractors, suppliers, and industry leaders, exploring potential collaborations and partnerships.

“It’s always great to attend these events. Not only do they keep us informed, but they also open up new opportunities for working together and moving the industry forward.” — TT Concrete
