On September 13, 2024, the TT Concrete team actively participated in the 3rd Annual Conference of the National Party Chinese Group (NPCG) and the Mid-Autumn Dinner held at Lobster Palace Restaurant in Botany, Auckland. This event brought together many members of the Chinese community and political figures to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and discuss the development and cultural heritage of the Chinese community in New Zealand.

The event was divided into two sessions, starting with the NPCG Annual Conference at 4:00 PM. During the conference, speeches were delivered by National Party President Sylvia Wood, NPCG National Chair Kingsley Wang, and several ministers and members of parliament. The speakers included Hon Melissa Lee (Minister for Ethnic Communities), Hon Simeon Brown (Minister for Energy, Local Government, and Transport), Hon Paul Goldsmith (Minister for Arts, Culture, and Heritage, and Justice), and Hon Simon Watts (Minister for Climate Change and Revenue). They engaged in discussions addressing issues important to the Chinese community, sharing insightful perspectives and valuable views.

The second session, the Mid-Autumn Dinner, began at 6:00 PM, where members of the community gathered to celebrate the festival with Prime Minister Rt Hon Christopher Luxon. Prime Minister Luxon delivered a speech and participated in a Q&A session, demonstrating his support and appreciation for the Chinese community. The dinner also featured an auction and a lucky draw, adding to the event’s enjoyment and interaction.

Through participation in this event, TT Concrete not only strengthened its connection with the Chinese community but also demonstrated its commitment to supporting New Zealand’s multicultural society. The company will continue to actively engage in community activities, contributing to cultural exchange and social development.
